The journey into motherhood was a long awaited one, years wishing, praying and waiting. Then here we were, this moment I waited so long for…bringing our greatest gift home from the hospital. And oh my goodness, what a whirlwind. Our little one suddenly become so hard to calm and nearly impossible to fall asleep regardless of absolutely everything we tried. The gut wrenching screams would rip me to shreds. I searched desperately for answers on anything that could help comfort her. It wasn’t until going inward that I truly found the answers I needed. Learning ways to calm my overworked nervous system that was in constant overdrive helped me to better support my little one with the calm, loving energy we both needed in those moments. When I was able to intentionally create more beautiful moments of deep connection and flow through the days with more clarity, presence and ease, I thought…if only I could have had this earlier, how differently it could have carried us through. So I got to work and created a beautiful gift set of tools to share how to embody the calm energy we and our little ones need in those hard moments, while having more compassion for ourselves and magnify more of the special moments.
